| With our society rapidly developing, household appliances industry, electronicindustry and automobile industry develop at high speed; this accelerates product updatefrequency and leads to shorter and shorter life cycle for products. In fact, products fromthree main industries mentioned above ushered in a scrape boom period, as a result,more and more waste thermosetting plastic will appear. Due to network structurethermosetting plastic has, it got a lot of superior properties including: wear resisting,thermal insulation, high pressure resistant, insulation and so on. All these greatproperties make thermosetting plastic difficult to recycle. In this case, carrying outrecycling study on waste thermosetting plastic is necessary for protecting environment,saving resource and realizing sustainable development.This paper took phenolic resin as research subject and waste phenolic resin wasactivated by mechanical activation. Establishing systematic recycling craft flow toprepare regenerated products makes efficiently recycling waste PF come true.Basis of mechanical activation was discussed during which crosslink density wasbrought to indicate activation result. Mixed with different thermoplastic resins,regenerated materials were used to prepare for compounds which consist of PF/PP,PF/PVC, PF/PE and so on. In compression process, influence of interface on compoundproperties was studied, as a result, compound made from PF/PVC got the best property,that is PVC has good consistency with PF. Afterwards, preproduction was taken out.Gabi software was used for LCA analysis of mechanical activation processes,system boundary was defined as the whole recycle procedure to compare environmentinfluence in each stage. A chair model was also established for ANSYS analysis. What’smore, according to the market, finical analysis was carried out, the results showed thatthis mechanical activation method could earn economic profit.In brief, mechanical methods can active phenolic resin and recover shapingcapability which is available for regeneration. Choose compatible PVC as padding,regenerated materials as substrate to produce composite panel which gets superiorproperties. Therefore mechanical activation method and its craft flow is an effectiveway to recycle waste phenolic resin. |
