The emulsion explosives which are based on the theory of the emulsion have a broadly application market among the industrial explosives.The emulsion explosives is a kind of thermodynamically unstable system having the characteristics of high internal phase ratio(>90%),easily crystallization and thickness,so the stability of emulsion explosives is an important research that is widespread concerned by the majority of researchers.In recent years, as the share of the emulsion explosives in industrial explosives is increasing,the study of the stability has been considered more and more important.Because of the microstructure of emulsion explosives for its stability has a significant impact, therefore this paper by studying changes in the microstructure of emulsion explosives analyzes the stability of electrical conductivity of emulsion explosives.On the distribution and accumulation mode particles of emulsion explosives were further discussed. Through the disorder of the internal system in emulsion explosives and on the base of understanding the complexity and self-similarity on micro structure,the power of deterministic fractal for emulsion explosives is first proposed with the method of fractal.This theory explains why the emulsion explosives is non-conductive at the initial preparation but conductive at the final breaking time and shows this process and mechanism visually.Then the concept of percolation is introduced to analyze the changes occurring between groups of emulsion explosives particles during the storage.And the percolation threshold is trying to illustrate the demulsification state of emulsion explosives.The emulsion explosive samples were destroyed by high-low temperature circle experiments and their conductivity was tested after the experiment.The microstructure changes in emulsion explosives were analyzed under the condition in different oil phase (interfacial films of different materials) and in the same oil phase (interfacial film thickness different).Combined with detonation velocity and brisance the correlation between the stability and the property of emulsion explosives was studied.It is found that with different materials as oil phase,the stability and detonation velocity is not relevant.While the oil phase materials are the same, with different content of the oil phase, the test of the stabilty and detonation velocity has a positive correlation.
