In the rapid development of technology today, The graphite products in various fields of national economy plays an increasingly important role, with the status of strategic resources.Especially in high-purity graphite (graphite purity above99.9%) in the field of high-tech materials allows the constantly increasing demand of high-purity graphite, but production is low due to the production of high purity graphite and its difficult and the supply of raw materials is farcan not meet the industrial demand. So high-purity graphite and graphite there is a huge price difference.Continuous graphite furnace developed by our group is a new electric furnace, has a short production cycle, high purity graphite, small power consumption advantages compared with other graphite furnace. The furnace, at this stage only using high-temperature method, the purification of graphite purity to reach the projected targets, the design of the group of graphite purity of99.9%, the conversion rate of100%graphite, using only high-temperature method, graphite purity99.7%~99.8.5%, the average purity of99.8%, graphite conversion rate of100%. After in-depth study and comparison of our group decided to use the high-temperature method and chemical purification method, heating portion of the reactor core materials of the furnace temperature of2000℃leads to chlorine to achieve the purpose of purification. This article will graphite purification principle, solve the problem of continuous graphite furnace further purification. The following questions and specific research:First, discussed a related process specifically;Second, the design can be used in the purification of industrial production equipment;Third, the purification effect of the chlorine flow field simulation.
