Fused magnesia is a sort of super refractory material with high melting point, strong anti-oxidant and slag resistance. It is widely used in the field of aerospace, nuclear industry and metallurgy. At present, the main producing method is electro fusion method and fused magnesium furnace is one of the main production equipments. During the smelting process, the stability of the three currents is vital for the final product. Because of the nonlinear, time-varying, external disturbances and bad producing environment during the smelting process, there are a lot of difficult points such as the high energy consumption during the smelting process.This thesis is supported by national basic research program of China (973Program, NO2009CB320601). Based on985Project science and technology innovation plat of industrial process integrated automation, this thesis makes a lot of research and development on fused magnesium furnace embedded control software because the present control software is lack of supporting for complicated algorithm. Industrial applications show the effective of the embedded control software. The main works of this thesis are as follows:(1) The scheme of the fused magnesium furnace embedded control software is designed in this thesis, including the embedded control platform software and algorithm software, then the functions of the two are designed respectively;(2) Then, the embedded control platform software is developed, including the I/O driver module, self-diagnose module, filter module, condition distinguishing and handling modules are designed and developed respectively; Then, the embedded control algorithm software based on rule-based reasoning is developed, combines the new condition with the present conditions;(3) Series of experiments are carried out to test and verify the embedded control software, including the real-time simulation experiment based on RTW and External mode, fused magnesium furnace hardware-in-loop simulation system experiment based on MATLAB and industrial experiment. The results show that the embedded control software is effective and the control goal can be achieved via the control software.
