Gongchangling open iron ore mining company, many years ago as a collective and individual small occurrences of non-standard dig up the land, the house is open-pit mining of the mining area where the formation of a large number of mined areas. In recent years, mining company cooperated with Northeastern University, by using geophysical methods, the basic identification of a certain distribution of cavity depth, size, and so on. And through field investigation and laboratory tests, an empty area of the hard rock roof level of the full extent of rock and rock mechanical parameters.Secondly, through the results of previous studies analyzed and summarized, with six of the gob roof calculated the minimum safe thickness. Combined with the specific circumstances of the cavity, using theoretical analysis method for calculating the bearing capacity of an empty area of the roof.Finally, by using FLAC3D numerical simulation model of mined areas, load analysis, analysis of the bearing capacity of roof space area. Combined with theoretical analysis and numerical simulation methods, and ultimately determine the bearing capacity of the roof cavity,district to do a security classification from KQ01to KQ40.
