| At present, the copper zinc alloy has been widely used in water purification, industrialwater purification, wastewater treatment and oil field water treatment and other aspects, butonly the filter material or solid block of copper zinc alloy is used currently in this aspect.Based on the copper zinc alloy in water treatment mainly depends on the role of the surface,therefore, the studies of copper zinc alloy coating preparation and microstructure performancehas higher theoretical value and application prospect.In this paper, there prepared three kinds of coating on Q235steel matrix by thetechnology of supersonic arc spraying, including S221copper zinc alloy coating, S225copperzinc alloy coating, S221and S225mixture coating, respectively. Then with the heat treatmentof coatings under different parameters, the microstructure and the morphology of the surfaceand the constitution of the phase on the copper zinc alloy coating were analyzed and comparedby means of the scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction. The micro hardness of allthe three kinds of coatings were tested. The contact angle for the water and glycerol in thecoating surface were measured simply and then the surface free energy of each coating wascalculated. The electrochemical polarization curves in water of all coatings were alsomeasured. The performance of three kinds Cu-Zn alloy coatings in water were comparedcomprehensively in detail.The results show that the copper zinc alloy coating are general bonding with the matrix,layered structure within the coating are found obviously, and the coatings have weak oxidation.After heat treatment, the porosity within the coating was reduced, and the microstructurebecame uniform and dense. The oxygen content of No.1and No.2coating are slightly higherthan the NO.3and the average value of micro-hardness of NO.3coating is higher than that ofNo.1and No.2coating. The surface free energy and its polar component value of NO.3coating after heating at700℃is slightly lower than the NO.1coating at700℃heattreatment.According to the corrosion and the interaction of ions in water and the electrochemicalpolarization curves, it is found that the corrosion resistance properties of NO.3alloy coating after heat treatment at700℃is better and the oxidation reduction reaction with the ions inwater can more easily occur. The reasonable heat treatment process has a great influence onthe performance of copper zinc coating in water treatment. |
