| Based on the status of welding of precious metal, this paper proposes to applypulsed tungsten argon arc welding. Relying on arc heat which produced by tungstenelectrode and welding materials will melt welding consumables, followed by cooling, concreting, ultimately achieve the purpose of welding. And tungsten not with weldingmaterial contact, effectively avoid the pollution of precious metal. This method has lessequipment investment and can ensure the purity of the precious metal. This paper mainly through spun gold or filamentary silver which diameter of0.7mm and golden or silver sphere which the outer circle diameter of8.0mm, inner holediameter of3.3mm,the wall thickness of0.8mm,using precision pulsed tungsten argonarc welding, in order to study the feasibility of using pulsed tungsten argon arc weldingto solder precious metal. Meanwhile, the paper has carried on the analysis to thewelding process.Precious metal in this experiment is welding material, which intends to develop asuitable welding process about pulsed tungsten argon arc welding and determine themain process parameters. Experiment show that, the size of welding current plays amajor role in welding differ greatly precious metal in diameter or thickness. But thewelding time and welding gun angle can also significantly influence the welding state.Firstly, this paper has carried on the welding feasibility analysis of the preciousmetal, and determined the selection of welding equipment according to the results of theanalysis, focuses on the analysis of the working principle of the equipment. Secondlythe article has carried on the analysis of the problems in the process of generating test, and the process parameters were optimized by orthogonal design experiment, a set ofwelding process of the establishment. At last the paper evaluated the quality of weldedjoints. The paper has a certain catalytic role in improving the current situation of gold andsilver precious metal welding and has a certain instruction function in applying argon tungsten arc welding with precious metal. |
