Crown-blocks in industrial workshop are used for lifting, lay down and carry the weight of equipment. Usually, Crown-blocks are worked together at the same time and same area. To avoid collision, anti-collision device for crown-blocks is researched and developed in the paper.Crown-block anti-collision device adopts laser ranging sensors, which monitor the real-time distance between crown-blocks. When crown-blocks in dangerous distance, anti-collision device will take measures to slow down or stop crown-blocks, to avoid a collision.Crown-block anti-collision device includes two parts:hardware and software.1) The hardware of the crown anti-collision device includes:circuit design of laser sensor ranging, MCU control and touch screen. In MCU control circuit, embedded MCU of STM32F103RBT6is used, which communicates with laser sensor via RS232to get the data of distance. The MCU, according to set parameters, controls frequency converter by DC4-20mA signal, then motor to make the crown-block running or stop.2) The software of crown-block anti-collision device includes:communication software about embedded MCU and laser sensor, I/O setting of MCU, memory, parameters setting and displaying in touch screen and PWM pulse width modulation for DC4-20mA.3) The crown-block anti-collision device was made and tested. The test showed that the laser ranging sensor is stable and the crown-block anti-collision device can be used for industrial crown-blocks to avoid a collision. |
