Slurry Pipeline draws attention all over the world countries and its development isvery rapid,as the fifth largest mode of transportation.because it owes advantages suchas:less investment, low cost,quick construction speed, not cover or covers less,high reliability.Pulp valve is one of the important equipment of long distance slurrypipeline transportation.It depends on the reliability of the valve whether Long distanceslurry pipeline transport system is a safe operation.More slurry valve used widely is combined-type slurry valve on the market atpresent.The valve is well-constructed, easy to operate,good wear-resistance and itcan implement remote hydraulic control and install where the operator is not easy toreach.So it is widely used as perfect replacement valve in the slurry transport of mines,power plants, metallurgy, chemical industry and other departments,especially in themesohigh Slurry Pipeline.However,traditional methods are mostly semi-experimentalexpression. The valve exists gate jammed and sealplate bending deflectionIncreasing thickNess is the usual method to solve the above problems in the designingprocess.Based on the research achievements of predecessors, this paperdoes the researchand design of Large-diameter Combined Slurry Valve and the finite element analysis ofdisc, sealplate.It uses finite element software to build large diameter combined entitymodel of slurry valve and sets boundary conditions based on the overall structure,andapplies load ram respectivelyaccording to the actual working condition and testcondition, sealing plate for the finite element static analysis and calculation toobserve and study the stress size and distribution of disc and sealplate.Results Displaysthat disc and sealing plate stress concentration phenomenon is obvious and it can notmeet the requirement of the use intensity and rigidity under the pressure.So it isnecessary to improve size and structure of the disc and sealplate for reducing anduniforming the stress concentration. After analysis of optimization,this research solves the bending deformation andthe distribution of stress concentration and obtains correction factor for The designformula.It playes a good guide for the design department,reduces the enterprise costand produces remarkable economic benefit.
