Paste backfilling mining is an effective approach to settle problem caused by coalmining under buildings, railway and water bodies. Compared with other approaches,such as traditional mining method and water-gravel-mixed filling,paste backfillingmining is high security, high recovery ratio and environment friendly. Thepopularization and application of paste backfilling mining technology is fully consistentwith the green coal mining which is greatly promoted in China. The technology also caneffectively solve the problems,such as“three unders” mining district,heap and so on.Based on combining with physical simulation and numerical simulation,the studyanalyze the law of the overlying strata movement and the surface subsidence.Based on combining with physical simulation,numerical simulation and sitemeasurement,the process and scope of the overlying strata movement were analyzed.And mechanism of support action is described.The study use physical simulation and numerical simulation on different fillingrations to reveal the law of the overlying strata movement,The results show that the roofstratum only occur bending zone and minimal leakage zone,but not retarded caving.And it can significantly reduce the strength of face strata.Finally, combined with the specific situation in Xiaotun coal mine filling workingface, the Xiaotun mine working face filling mining ground subsidence after wereobserved and analyzed, at the same time, a detailed analysis of the mine Xiaotun fillingmining cost structure, and the mine Xiaotun filling mining results are introduced.
