Now vehicle emission pollution problem has been the focus of world attention. Motor vehicle to bring convenience and efficiency at the same, It’s tail also caused serious pollution to the environment and great harm to people’s health. So many cities at abroad have been widely carried out research on vehicle emissions of air pollution estimates.With the rapid growth of vehicle ownership in Hohhot, traffic demand increas, air pollution caused by motor vehicle exhaust emissions has become one of the major environmental problems in Hohhot. Therefore, to carry out research vehicle emission pollution work in Hohhot has been imperative.After about aspects of domestic and foreign motor vehicle pollution testing and governance are reviewed in this issue, describes this project’s study the purpose, content. From city profiles and vehicle development situation in Hohhot, targeted project launched research, fully grasp the air quality situation in Hohhot. Subsequent CVEM model used by motor vehicle emission pollution estimates is introduced, and use it to obtain the all types of vehicle pollutants emission factors by calculated correction in Hohhot. Another main task is to use the CVEM model to calculate the total pollutants, export the result buy graph, and simultaneous graphical analysis. By calculating, Hohhot vehicles total emissions of various pollutants in2011were as follows:Total CO72422tons, Total HC11051tons, Total NOx26023tons and total PM3543tons. So there are113,039tons pollutants emissions from vehicle in2011Hohhot. After this is study the concentration distribution of motor vehicle pollution in Hohhot. Here the main work is estimates the moving line source and point source of city of emissions source in Hohhot, and further calculates the concentration of pollution in this area. From the last calculation, we can know higher pollution concentrations of CO and NOx is near the train station and the Victoria Shopping Centre, but Lower pollution concentrations near the North Second Ring.At last, we can draw conclusions by the theoretical data, and recommend measures, while give advice for further research vehicle emission pollution estimates in Hohhot.
