Research On Chinese Han Nationality Female’s Beizi In Song Dynasty

Beizi is the more popular clothing style of the women in Song Dynasty. And this paper take it as the research topic. In the fieldwork nowadays in Song Dynasty, excavated material of the Han women’s clothing Beizi is the foundation. To check the information of the Beizi in relevant history books, documents, and the Chinese paintings and sculptures, murals in Song Dynasty. The paper research all those aspects for showing the complete picture of the Song women’s Beizi. And on the basis of the analysis and comparison of song dynasty women’s clothing Beizi’s structure, structural drawing to make recovery experiment on it.Through researching on the concept of Beizi and its development and application of design research, the paper have tried to understand what Beizi is, and how it can become a more popular style in song dynasty period. In addition, according to the relevant historical data, notes, excavated material of the Beizi in Song Dynasty,the paper will study the simplicity of its structure, practical function, the simple but elegant color with a stable balance, and decorating pattern with the characteristics of advocating natural style. Moreover, through studying the structure of the Song Dynasty women’s clothing Beizi,it is going to work out their recoveries to understand its structure characteristics and restore their original appearance. Finally, the author will get the above research results as the two design examples of application of inspiration or inspired, its purposes is to effectively use Oriental elements in modern fashion design, and inherit and absorb our nation’s precious costume culture.
