Zen Buddhism originated in ancient India as a foreign culture into China, the Tang and Song Dynasties, Zen absorbed Confucianism, Taoism and Confucianism, Taoism mastery, finally completed its transformation in China, formed with Chinese characteristics religious culture, Zen is not only to promote the confluence of the three religions, in addition to a second breakthrough achievements of Chinese aesthetics. Deep into all aspects of Chinese philosophy, ethics, education, history, literature, art and customs, etc., become an important part of Chinese history and culture.Tea was found to humans and use, there are about four or five thousand years of history, China is the world’s first discovery, use and cultivation of tea in the country. Metaphysics is a combination of Confucian thought Lao zhuang righteousness and rise of a philosophy of the Wei and Jin Dynasties. Tea light Masaoki qualities, by the time metaphysicians like many metaphysicians shift from drinking wine, in that tea was treated as a kind of spiritual phenomena. With the introduction of Buddhism, Taoism rise, tea facilitate this culture Buddhism, Taoism linked, then the confluence of three religions, tea as a spiritual companionship and quiet meditation into the essential thing, deeply loved by the people.Through in-depth analysis and Zen Buddhism, discusses the role of ideology as a kind of Zen design rendered in force. By Zen spiritual content description and analysis summary for the role of design guidelines to be refined and elaborated with case, summed up the theory from concept to design practice would like to transition to the design used in today’s modern design techniques are used to summarize and the application of these methods to be theoretical concepts through design practice. This selection of tea as a design target practice, Zen is not only a profound impact on the way people drink tea, and deep into every aspect of tea drinking, the most direct response is on artifacts, Zen spirit and attitude penetration which make our tea pristine nature of the design characteristics of the transmission, idle silence exudes Zen interesting aura. The Zen of cultural traits to be transmitted to the design, to create more design possibilities. The product design has become a way of life care with Zen Buddhism, but also allows the product itself, the spiritual and cultural values may be raised.
