Hilbert Huang transform (HHT) that has extensive application prospects andimportant theoretical research value, is proposed by Norden E.Huang in1998. HHT is anew analysis method for non-linear, non-stationary mutate signal. The core is theempirical mode decomposition (EMD), and the essence is described as follows: anykind of signal can be decomposed through EMD signal decomposition method, theoriginal signal is decomposed into a number of intrinsic mode function (IMF), usedHilbert transform to carry out the instantaneous frequency of each IMF component andother parameters, and obtain the time-frequency distribution map of original signal. As anew signal identification and analysis theory, HHT has been gradually applied to theanalysis of blasting vibration signals and vibration signals of ground target moving,signal analysis and check of power failure, signal processing of underwater target, noisereduce processing, the signal processing of video, speech signal and so on, and it hasvery important research and use value.In this paper, we analyze and discuss the problems of HHT theory. First we analyzethe HHT problems of sampling frequency, termination criterion, curve fitting, boundaryprocessing and modal aliasing, and decompose the original signal into IMF componentthrough EMD signal decomposition method based on the characters that in HHT theorythe original signal comprises a number of different frequency components,then carryout the frequency analysis, remove the invalid frequency components of the IMF bydesigning filter, recombine the residual component of the IMF and achieve noisereduction purposes in succession in the end. By applied the HHT theory in theprocessing of TCP perforation signal, we proposed a method that gaining the perforationrate, for this method, we identify the characters of TCP perforated blasting signal byusing the first order IMF high frequency components of the original signal, combinewith the parameters such as time and sampling frequency and so on to estimate thenumber of perforating blasting and then got the perforation rate.HHT is applied to the study of signal identification of tubing perforation and therecognition method of TPC perforation vibration signals based on HHT is proposed, the experimental results show that the HHT analysis method can describe the frequencycomponents of signal accurately, the method can identify the signal features, by usingthe high frequency component of the IMF we can estimate the perforator blastingnumber and get perforation rate,which provides constructors with accurate basis for thequality judgment of perforation.
