| Safety is the most important issue in coal mine. When the coal mine accidents happen, rescue workers need to act quickly to rescue trapped persons and the complex environment increases the risk of rescue work. Then the rescue communication system which can not only improve the efficiency of the rescue work but also provide the security guarantee for rescue workers is needed. But the technology and equipment of rescue communication system are relatively backward. Under these background, this paper propose an integrated system which includes voice-scheduling subsystem, environment-detecting subsystem, video-monitoring subsystem and person-positioning subsystem and complete the design and implementation of environment monitoring and early warning subsystem.The environment monitoring and early warning subsystem includes the multi-parameter detecting terminal and the environment-monitoring software. The terminal will be carried by rescue workers and the software runs on the computer in command center. The two communicate with each other through the Wireless Mesh Network.The characteristics of wireless mesh network such as fast networking, large capacity, easy expansion make it suitable for application in the coal mine emergency rescue communication system as the backbone to ensure communication between ground and underground. Considering the particularity of coal mine environment, this paper chooses the chain network structure and nodes equipment.The design of multi-parameter detecting terminal is in order to meet the needs of portability requirements and detecting the environmental conditions of rescue scene. The paper introduces the design requirements and the implementation process of the terminal. The terminal uses the embedded system, choose ARM9as the processor and can detect eight kinds of environment parameters and will alarm when any parameter value exceeds the safety threshold. The design of environment-monitoring software is to help the workers in command center to master the environment conditions in rescue scene. The software’s capabilities include serial communication, data processing and dynamic visualization. Data transmission and reception area and eight images are presented in the same interface for convenience of monitoring.Finally, the paper summarizes the test work. The first part is the wireless Mesh network performance test. A25-node wireless Mesh network is built in Canal Forest Park. The performance of wireless Mesh network constructed by this paper can meet the design requirements. The second part is function test of environment monitoring and early warning subsystem. According to test results, the subsystem can realize the functions such as communication between terminal and software, acquisition and display of environment parameters and early warning. |
