As a kind of solid-liquid separation equipment, centrifuge could be used in lots ofindustry department, such as coal mining, chemical industry, pharmacy, foodstuff and so on.Especially in the coal industry, this kind of centrifuge could play a key role in the applicationof dehydration of smile and flotation concentrate due to its high efficiency in dehydrationprocess. With the rapidly development of spiral centrifuge in recent years, it’s so urgent tomake some analysis on deformation and mechanical vibration, the structure strength of screwconveyor and drum which are the key component of spiral centrifuge.The calculation formulas for measure the production capacity of spiral centrifuge basedon the theory of centrifugal separation has been shown in this paper, and the force on thescrew conveyor was found through some calculations. And the study of kinetic about thesliding of sediment and the work could be a cornerstone for the research in future. With thehelp of SolidWorks-3D and by the use of HyperMesh, a high quality finite element model ofdrum and screw conveyor was established. And the models have been used in analysis onstatics, mode and the critical speed of rotation with the help of ANSYS. The main researchesof this paper are shown below:(1) Make a check on the strength of drum and screw conveyor under the condition ofstatic with different condition to make sure that the strength of structure and its rigidity couldsatisfy the use requirement.(2) Study on the effection of the dimension of the opening of slay removal on the stressconcentration factor,and after the analysis a cure was drawn to show the relationship of thedimension of opening and stress concentration factor.(3) Study on the dynamic relation between the intensity of stress of screw conveyor and the changing of speed of rotation during the operation.(4) Using the method of block lanczos to make a mode analysis on drum and screwconveyor respectively by the help of ANSYS and got the inherent frequency and vibrationtype of the machine on conclusion of centrifugal force filed or not.(5) Calculate the critical speed of screw conveyor with the influence of gyroscopebased on the theory of rotor dynamics. Research the relationship of the rigidity of support andthe critical speed. |
