Petroleum and gas as a country’s main economic energy, oil and gas pipeline is anecessary tool for petroleum and gas transport, At the same time, insulated tubing to replacethe ordinary pipe used in heavy oil wells of thermal recovery steam injection operation, caneffectively prevent heat loss and can reduce the operation cost. If the pipe reinforcing plate,elbow, insulated tubing,etc have defects, oil and gas pipeline has the possibility of an accident,thus, the economic loss is enormous, so the detection of pipe reinforcing plate, elbow,insulated tubing,etc pipeline special components are very important.The topic for the detection problem that the oil and gas pipeline special componentsdetects, based on pipeline magnetic flux leakage detection technology, studied the technologyof pipeline special components defects. Through analyzing the advantages and disadvantagesof different excitation modes, obtained the magnetic flux leakage detection ways of pipelinespecial components. Through the analysis of the Maxwell equations and the materialproperties of ferromagnetic material, obtained the static magnetic field principle of pipelinespecial components and the calculation method of DC excitation coil magnetic field. UsingComsol Multiphysics finite element simulation software, the simulation model of differentpipe special components are established, analysed different size pipe reinforcing plate andreinforced plate defects, the internal and external circular medial and lateral defect of pipeelbow and heat insulation oil pipe inner and outer pipe defect signals Bx, By component sizeand distribution characteristics, to simulate the corresponding analysis results of pipelinespecial components, provides a good theoretical basis for experiment. In the permanentmagnet excitation mode, using pipeline magnetic flux leakage detecting device collectexperimental data of pipe reinforcing plate and pipe defect, analysed pipe reinforcing plate andpipe defect signal distribution characteristics, It is concluded that the respective detectionmethod. Across the DC coil excitation mode, set up a experimental platform of insulatedtubing inner and outer pipe defects detection, using DC excitation coil Magnetizing theinsulated tubing magnetization to saturation state, holzer sensor to collect heat insulated tubingdefects signal, signal amplifying and conditioning circuit to the collected signal of holzersensor to amplify and filter, Through the PCI-1716L data acquisition card and the Labview virtual instrument software for the defects signal after amplifying and filtering to A/Dacquisition and display analysis, Finally realizes the display and analysis of defect signal Bxand By components.Through the collection and analysis of experimental data, so as to achieve the recognitionof pipe reinforcing plate, pipeline defects and pipe reinforcing plate defects, can realize thedetection of insulated tubing inner and outer defects and distinguish under30%depth of innerand outer pipe defects signal, the effect of detection is very obvious, the detection process ofthe whole system is fast and convenient. This paper can realize the pipeline defects, pipelinereinforcing plate, pipeline elbow defects, pipeline reinforcing plate defects and insulatedtubing defects detection, provides the possibility for detecting pipeline of pipeline specialcomponents engineering.
