| The extended-reach well drilling technology is very sophisticated and it is an integratedsystem engineering technology both for directional well and for horizontal well technology.The exploration extended-reach well drilling technology can be widely used in theexploration and development of offshore oil Field, offshore oil and ground oil and gasreservoir, of which the conditions are extremely complex. This kind of technology can savethe exploration and development investment at a large scale and improve the economicbenefits of oil and gas fields effectively. Based on the domestic and international researchstatus and literature research on the key techniques of extended reach well drilling, theprogress of several key techniques which are encountered frequently on field are analyzed inthis paper, including the optimum design of well trajectory, hole cleaning technology model,the casing running technology and its application in the oil field. The research on theapplication of key technologies in extended reach wells were conducted. Suggestions andseveral prospects of the technology development of extended reach wells were put forwardas well. |
