The geology structure of Wugou mine is complicated. It’s necessary to react to the quantitative evaluation on geological structure complexity in order to achieve safe and efficient mining. This paper mainly studied the fault distribution characteristic, fold structure developed characteristic, structure combination form> coal control pattern, formation mechanism of mine based on the exploration data, data of rock drift tunneling and actual mining date. It studies the quantitative assessment of mine geological structure by using the gray fuzzy comprehensive judgment method of WUgou. The following results were obtained:(1) Mine fault is given priority to normal fault development, account for95%of the large and middle faults, moreover the fall is large and distribution the whole mine. Reverse fault development accounts for5%, the fall is small, messing in the mine. Small fault trend and tendency of distribution are dispersal totally, concluded that the stress by multiphase role to achieve the complex tectonic situation today. Fold structure is mainly for the NW extension direction,and second is the NS and NE. Coal measures strata assumes the wave form totally, the fault distribution has the grouping, naturally, isometric and belts features. The whole mine has a feature of controlling coal mining field, and is given priority to with stretch fracture coal controlling structures, less the extrusion fracture.(2) Through the analysis of structure formation time and tectonic stress field, we concluede that Wugou mine geological structure is a product of the phase of the movement.(3) Using the log interpretation methods and the results under the well observation, We interprated the mian coal mine structure, it is concluded that controlled by fault and fold structure coal, tectonic coal thickness and fault fractal dimension values and fold plane deformation coefficient, on the whole, present a tendency of positive correlation. It shows the influence of geological structure of coal seam coal body structure(4) From the aspect of fold, fault, tectonic coal and so on. This paper makes a qualitative evaluation of structural complexity. On the basis of comprehensive comparison and analysis, it determines the quantitative evaluation index structure complexity:fault density, the strength of the fault, fracture fractal dimension values, fold flat deformation coefficient, thickness of tectonic coal. By Using the grey fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and quantitative evaluation of tectonic development degree, it concluded that10coal complexity of structure is given priority to the medium and complex.
