With high-performance CNC machine require for high speed, accuracy and reliability, the cases that how to reduce the influence of impact load、the error of the walk, to keep a high accuracy in the process became urgent problems to be solved. As a modern CNC machine’s part commonly used to support other components, linear ball guide have advantages of compact structure, sensitive reaction, carrying a good performance, convenient installation etc. They are more widely used in processing center, CNC machine industry. The performance of the linear ball guide have very important influence on the overall performance of CNC machine.In this paper, we make the SHS45V THK linear rolling guide used in VMC650CNC processing center for research object. We build the parametric model of linear rolling guide, and use theoretical analysis and finite element analysis method to research the mechanical properties of the linear rolling guide. Finally we compute with the reliability of linear rolling guide on the analysis of the data calculated in front.The main research contents are as follows:First this paper summarized the present research situation and the existing problems of the linear rolling guide in domestic and at abroad. This paper also introduces the main linear rolling guide types and key technology,and use the research methods combination of the finite element analysis and theory research.By analyzing the linear rolling guide’s own characteristics and the contact state of the rolling ball structure and groove, we use the knowledge of Hertz contact theory to built up a the mechanical model of linear rolling guide the ball’s elastic deformation under load.This paper simplified some of the structure characteristics after studied the structural characteristics of each component the linear rolling guide, streamlining some of the structural characteristics. On the basis model simplified, we use Pro/ENGINEER software to create a parametric mode of linear rolling guide. You can modify the key parameters of the program size and re-create a new model. Importing the linear rolling guide model into ANSYS software for finite element analysis, we calculate by applying different loads and analyze linear rolling guide deformation under load. We analysis the calculation results in theoretical and compare the results of the calculation model with the theoretical model.Using the data calculated of linear rolling guide mechanical model of deformation in the rolling ball in the case of elastic deformation under load, we use the Monte-Carlo method to calculate the force-deformation reliability of the linear motion guide the rolling ball.
