At present, with the development of â…¤-Ti magnetite resources Pan Xi area, a lot of problems appeared in the mines, including low grade, large energy consumption and difficulty of separating.It has been a major issue to reduce the energy consumption and improve the seperating performance for the mills in Panzhihua area.This has significant and social benefits.The paper shows the useful and harmful components of the ore, all kinds of mineral composition and characteristics, disseminated grain size of titanium, titanium magnetite iron ore and the main gangue minerals, valuable elements of occurrence of state etc. In addition, the paper showed grinding degrees,liberation degree, specific surface area, volume, aperture radius and bond work indices of products from high pressure roller mill and jaw crusher.The results of study on the ore mineralogical shows that the ore iron grade is31.29%, titanium grade is9.31%.Main metal minerals in the ore are titanic magnetite, ilmenite, pyrrohotite and pyrite, gangue minerals in the ore are pyroxene, feldspar, chlorite, and a small amount of sphene altered mixture, a lot of apatite which is irregular colloidal aggregation. Titanic magnetite liberation degree is relatively high, when grinding fineness-0.074mm60%, the titanic magnetite liberation degree is90%, The liberation degree of ilmenite is relatively fine; when grinding fineness is-0.074mm90%, the degrees is90%.The test process of the paper is grinding-separation of Fe-tailings regrinding-sulfur removal-titanium concentration. Permanent magnetic separator machine is used for iron roughing, the surface magnetic field intensity of which is120mT; Magnetic column is used for cleaning, current ripple is2.2A, constant current is1.1A. Butyl xanthate is used as collecting agent for sulfur removal, sulfuric acid is used as pH adjustment agent, and terpenic oil is used serves as foaming agent. Soap which is from Midi plant is used as collecting agent for titanium roughing. Sulfuric acid is used as pH adjustment agent. Sodium silicate is used as inhibitors. Terpenic oil is used serves as foaming agent.The test shows the production rate of iron concentrate on products from jaw crusher is44.81%, the grade is54.46%and the recovery is74.1%. The production rate of iron concentrate on products from high pressure roller is44.52%, the grade is55.22%and the recovery is76.23%. The production rate of titanium concentrate on products from jaw crusher is5.21%, the grade is32.20%and the recovery is14.57%. The production rate of titanium concentrate on products from high pressure roller is5.32%, the titanium grade is32.26%and the recovery is14.69%. It has more benefits to â…¤-Ti magnetite in PanXi area by high pressure roller than jaw crusher. |
