Experimental Research On Durability And Ageing Test Of PPS Filter Media

With the development of our country’s industrialization, there is a lot of dust in the producing process of many corporations such as heavy industry、chemical industry and raw&processed materials energy industry. Baghouse are effective dust removing equipment to control the air pollution. So it is widely used in industry. Bag filter plays a key role. PPS is the most popular filter medium used in power plant. Research on durability of PPS can reduce the opearation cost of the baghouse system, and improve the reliability of the equipment.In the paper, experiment is made, and experiment investigation about the effect of nitrous oxide on PPS filter are done at different condition (different temperature, nitrogen dioxide concentration and hours).The data show that with the effect of NO, concentrations is increased, breaking strength and elongation of PPS shows a downward trend; with the increasing of temperature, breaking strength of PPS is rised and then decreased; with the increasing of time,the corrosiveness of PPS is enhanced and brittleness is increased. elongation becomes small and breaking strength is decreased;the factors of NO and the heat factors have a big effect on the breaking strength of warp,but other influences is small;relative humidity has some influences of the breaking strength; synchronization thermal analysis and infrared analysis are in line with peaks and melting point of PPS.
