Using the experimental device to simulate the actual working status of drilling fluid, it playsa significant role in obtaining the property index of drilling fluid, filtering drilling fluid systemand achieving safe and efficient drilling. Base on the method of experimental research andnumerical simulation, the pressure drilling fluid dynamic simulation device is designed, visualsimulation of drilling fluid dynamic flow, carrying cuttings and dynamic filter can be realizedpressure condition.The current API filtration evaluating method with uniform filter is not suitable to evaluatethe actual formations. The effects of different types of filtrate loss reducers on sand-bed filtratehas be studied using FA Model Filter tester and handmade dynamic filtration device, to reflect thefiltrate performance of drilling fluid. It evaluates the filter loss properties of filtrate loss reducersby sand-bed formed with different particle sand.It shows that thesmaller the sand’s size, and thegreater its mass, the smaller its sand-bed filtrate. The sand’s size and mass should be adjusted forexperiments demand or formation permeability and porosity. Dynamic filter experiment couldreally reflect the filtration of drilling fluid underground.With fluent soft system, flow characteristics of drilling fluid have be studied in thehole vary.It shows that, the pressure ofdrilling fluid increased with the depth increment thedepth increment.It is consistent with the reality that be affected by wall, the speed of drillingfluid and cuttings is the largest in the middle of the annulus and the smaller the more close to thewall.The fluent soft system also be used to research the characters of drilling fluid dynamic flow,carrying cuttings and gas flowing into wellbore.The simulations experiments show that the speedcuttings is the largest in the middle of the annulus by flushing by drilling fluid and then reachesstability gradually.The speed of mixture in the annulus significantly larger and pressure reducesafter gas flowing into wellbore.The pressure drilling fluid dynamic simulation device is designed by using experimentalresearch, numerical simulation and theoretical analysis in combination and base on drilling fluidhydraulic, rheology and similarity theory. Then, completed the design and selection the mainequipment designed structural parameters simulation wellbore, preferably the drilling fluid pumps, drilling fluid flow meters, pressure gauges and pressure endoscopy and other supportingdevices.
