The oriented silicon steel is an important functional material and an indispensable power of electronics and military industry, with the development of the national economy, the demand is gradually increasing, electrical steel by laser irradiation technology has gained wide attention too. In order to further improve the electrical steel laser irradiation technology, in this paper, I do the experiment of electrical steel by laser irradiation technology and study the simulation technology, the main work and progress in this paper is as follow:(1) In this paper, the stability of laser irradiation silicon steel belt in the process of laser equipment for decreasing the core loss is very important. The results show that, the stable samples have the higher reduction than the unstable samples. At the same time, according to the conclusion and the mechanics principle, this paper presents a stable laser model.(2) This paper has studied the irradiation’s routes, the angle with the rolling direction of the silicon steel sheet and the nick distance on notch effect. The results show that, on the condition of the samples with close orientation, the straight indentation line indented relative curve indentation line and dotted line, have the larger iron loss reduction;75-80degree notch solutions have the larger iron loss reduction than perpendicular to the rolling to orientation solutions; the nick distance between4.1mm and4.5mm have the larger iron loss reduction.(3) The article in view of the YAG laser, has studied the better process parameters of30Q125silicon steel and verify the effect of depth of the laser beam spot and the center distance ratio on the iron loss reduction. The best technological parameters is:Input current is160A, the coke quantity is111mm, pulse frequency is35Hz, nick speed is9mm/s and the nick distance is4.4mm,and the average reduction of this technology is up to9.50%.(4) This paper has studied the COMSOL simulation of the laser irradiation process. Through the finite element simulation of laser irradiation process and the temperature field with COMSOL, it can provide some guidance and help on experimental process.
