Nowadays, cyanide compounds are used extensively for extractinggold cyanide, cyanideplating metal, synthetic rubber, fibers and dye industries, most inorganic cyanide are highly toxic substances, traces of cyanide would make livestock ina very short timedied of poisoning, causing serious damage to the ecological environment. This topic use microwave carbonized peanut shells supported catalyst fluidized bedtreatment of wastewater containing cyanide. By controlling the variables under differentconditions carbonized peanutshells on the degradation of wastewater containingcyanide. Specific experiments to explore the conditions under different flow rates, peanutshell carbonization temperature, treatment time, and circulating fluidized bed catalystconcentration, and the optimal conditions for the fluidized bed treatment of wastewatercontaining cyanide.First experiments using microwave muffle furnace microwave irradiation on peanut shellscarbonized. Peanut shell carbonization temperature for different preparation of activatedcarbon, etc. were investigated using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) under differentconditions on the pore structure of the product was characterized by weight loss and yieldwere studied under different experimental conditions the product, and a tensile test. Theexperimental results showed that: the irradiation time was90min, carbonization temperatureof250℃, the product obtained has good physical properties and pore structure.Further experiments investigated the peanut shell charcoal adsorption of cyanide in thewater, peanut shells investigated carbonation time, carbonization temperature, activatedcarbon dosage, flow rate and cycle time for adsorption reaction conditions such as the effectsof cyanide are derived activated carbon adsorption peanuts have the optimum reactionconditions. The results show that the carbonization time was90min, peanut shellcharcoal carbonization temperature of250℃, the dosage of1.6g/100ml, a flow rateof150mL/min, the cycle time is150min, the best treatment for cyanide removal rate of96%.Finally, the activator was studied to investigate the effects of the test sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, zinc chloride activator at three different concentrations, the resultsshowed: the effect is better than the other two phosphate activator for15%concentrationphosphoric acid activation after peanut shell activated carbon for the removal of cyanide inthe water better than other experimental concentration.Through the analysis of experimental data discussed. Concluded that peanut shells are goodmaterials for preparing activated carbon, activated carbon for the preparation of highlyefficient cyanide adsorption performance and economy.
