Skin-care finishing aims at attaching moisturizing and nourishing functions to fabrics inthe method of textile finishing process. In the view of skin-care finishing, the key is to usenatural compounds. Amino acid is a natural moisturizing factor which can activate cells andimprove the metabolism and blood circulation, moreover, it can add water to skin accordingto the seasons because of its efficient moisturizing function, and strengthen resistant functionof skin to avoid damage and dry from the change of external environment. Sericin protein isone kind of polymer natural protein of moisturizing function, which includes eighteen kindsof amino acids and owns wonderful affinity with human skin. It has been widely used incosmetics, food, medical material and textile fields.This article has been devoted to research how to achieve skin-care effect through addingmoisturizing performance to fabrics and releasing under certain conditions. Multiplecarboxylic acid and sericin with many kinds of amino acids were used to process cottonfabrics so that amino acid derivatives can add to fabrics through carboxyl modification andamino modification. In the process of material fabrication, Design-Expert statistic softwarewas introduced to sift the most significant effect from lots of influence factor so that it cangive a specific regression equation which we can estimate positive and negative effectaccording to plus or minus of numerical value. In terms of analysis of variance to judge theimportance of factors, and then loot out the optimal portfolio and optimize experiment craft.Single factor experiment research in the effect of experiment condition on moisture rate ofcotton fabrics, including carboxylic acid concentration, sodium hypophosphite concentration,sodium bicarbonate concentration, sericin concentration, baking temperature and baking timerespectively, and then receive the optimal experimental results.The results shows that the optimal technological condition of skin-care materialpreparation is: carboxylic acid concentration10%, catalyst concentration4%, alkaliconcentration3.5%, sericin concentration7.5%, baking temperature80℃and baking time2min.The moisture rate of cotton fabrics after the treatment of amino acid derivative has beenimproved, and owes moisturizing properties. Infrared spectral analysis showed that thesurface of fabrics after treatment existed characteristic absorption peak of C=O and-NH2, sothe modification effect was succeed. Because there are both acidity and alkaline of amino acid molecule on sericin, so it is not suitable to titration directly with acid or alkali. Thisarticle makes reference to the principle of amino acid automatic analyser, when ninhydrinadded to amino acid solution, it takes chromogenic reaction and produce bluish violetcompound, the shade of color is proportional to the ratio of amino acid content in the solution.At570nm appears the maximum absorption wavelength, so that we can measure theabsorbance of solution and then measure burst size of amino acid by ultraviolet and visiblespectrophotometer. Orthogonal experiment results showed that the optimal technologicalcondition of skin-care material preparation is: BTCA concentration5%, sodiumhypophosphite concentration4%, sodium carbonate concentration3%, sericin concentration6%. Under these conditions, the dissolving-out quantity of amino acid on cotton fabricsincreased with dipping time. The performance and index of fabrics after treatment are good. |
