Embedded co-cured damping composite material has a broad application prospectin the high-tech fields of aviation, aerospace and high-speed trains. This paper is aimedto study a new high-temperature-resistance embedded co-cured damping compositematerial. On the basis of composite material prepreg QY260/T700, a viscoelasticdamping material ingredient which meets the needs of co-cured technology andhigh-temperature-resistance performance is presented in detail by the orthogonalexperiment and the comparisons of a variety of damping material properties. Accordingto the viscoelastic damping material and composite material prepreg properties, themanufacturing process of embedded co-cured high-temperature-resistance dampingcomposite structure is studied and the experiment specimens of this structure aresuccessfully developed. The interlaminar shear test, model test, absorption and soundinsulation test results of the specimens before and after high temperature aging arecompared respectively, which verifies the validity of this structure after hightemperature aging. The paper’s innovations are listed as following.⑴A viscoelastic damping material ingredient which meets the needs of co-curedtechnology and high-temperature-resistance performance is presented in detail by theorthogonal experiment and the comparisons of a variety of damping material properties.⑵The damping materials were dissolved intetrahydrofuran,a new type of solvent,to form viscoelastic material solution, and then a new double brush coating process waspresented to produce damping membrane.⑶The paper presents a set of manufacturing process of the embedded co-curedhigh-temperature-resistance damping composite structure, and successfully developsmany specimens with different damping layer thickness.⑷It is by comparing of before and after high temperature aging that the paperstudy the material’s properties of the interlaminar bonding performance, modal situation, the sound absorption and sound insulation properties to verify itshigh-temperature-resistance performance.
