With the development of the organic silicon industry, the silicone oil, in particular amino-modified silicone oil, has been widely added to the shampoo as the conditioner in recent years. Glycoside is a kind of the new green nonionic surfactant with more excellent performance. Due to the presence of molecular poly oxyethylene (EO), glycoside ether (AEG) has excellent water-solubility and hard water resistance while maintaining the excellent performance of the APG.The paper studies the emulsifiability of amino-silicone with different surfactants. The optimal ratio of emulsifier was determined by drawing phase diagram.AEO3-AEG and AEO3-AEO9were selected as the emulsifier, and the corresponding amino-silicone microemulsions were prepared Morphology and particle size of the microemulsions were characterized by polarizing microscope and zeta potentiometer. Amino-silicone microemulsion was prepared under optimal multiplexing ratio and characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM). Experimental results show that AEO3-AEG emulsifier has optimum emulsifying performance to the amino-silicone.The paper investigated the influence of the particle size and the addition of the emulsion in the shampoo formulations on hair combing performance, foam performance and stability of hot and cold, etc.. The results indicate that the combing effect is best when adding2%of the amino-silicone microemulsion; the relatively small size of amino-silicone microemulsions is easier to adhere to the hair bundle. So it provides a theoretical guidance for the shampoo formulation screening. The analysis measuring method of amino-silicone deposition amount on the hair (Si) was established and improved by silico-molybdenum blue spectrophotometry, then compared with full spectrum direct reading plasma atomic emission spectrometry(ICP-OES). The results with two analysis methods are similar. But the silico-molybdenum blue spectrophotometry has the higher practical value, because of simple experimental operation and low test cost.
