This paper is divided into6chapters, in which the generaloverview of collect chuck, the typical geometry of itsfunctional components, the design and calculation, the designapproach for dedicated collect chuck used for gear machining,the typical geometry application and research for dedicatedcollect chuck used for Gear Machining Equipment in DatongGear Company, and the Conclusion are analyzed and discussed.The theoretical part of general overview is comparativelyuniversal, mainly expressing the general concept of machining.The examples are taken from the practice in our company to seta steppingstone to specially analyze collect chuck for gears inthe next chapter. In the chapter of typical geometry for collectchuck functional components, it is based on using differentlocation methods to achieve the clamping requirement duringgear machining. In this paper, three location methods arepresented as bore locating, diameter locating, and self locating.In the chapter of design and calculation, it is mainly focused onthe calculation of geometry and clamping force, the design andcalculation of bowl spring and disc spring. The fourth and fifth chapter are mainly about the application and research ofdedicated fixture of the equipment used for machining all kindsof gears in our company and the collect chuck used in theprocess while machining parts.By integrating practice and theory, this paper elaboratesthe application of theory into practice, and every application inpractice gets support from theory. In this way, the paper is easyto understand, and that is what I write this paper for.
