| Cold Rolling Tension Reel is the important assistant equipment in cold rolling workshop. It is widely used in pickling, annealing and galvanization process line. With the cooperation of other equipment in the delivery section of line, it will rewind product strip into coil. It is quite difficult to design tension reel for the adverse working conditions, the strict requirement on rewind precision and the complicated structure. Traditional design method has a lot of problem. It needs a relatively long design circle. And because of improper safety factor, it may lead to high cost of tension reeel. As to the point above, this paper focus on the relationship among load, structure parameters and ability parameters of tension reel. And by means of virtual prototype model of the tension reel established, structural statics analysis and fatigue properties study are accomplished. It also has important engineering value and theory significance.The paper is based on the studying status of tension reel. According with the research duty of the enterprise, it aims at the system feature of deceleration part and the static characteristics of drum. First, according to the coil parameters and tension, the ability of main motor can be calculated. Rubber sleeve and rotating cylinder are the main components of tension reel. Then make the structure nonlinear analysis in ANSYS to find out the principle of deformation. So the deformation force of rubber sleeve and the ability of rotating cylinder can be concluded.Secondly, establish the optimization program for the deceleration part in MATLAB and calculate the parameters by using reliability theory. Then import the3D modeling of gear into ANSYS. Set up restraint and drive and make optimization for the structure. And make the statics and fatigue analysis.Thirdly, drum is the key component of tension reel. Use ProE to establish the3D models of drum and import into ANSYS. Set up restraint and drive and make analysis in statcis, modal and transient dynamics fields.Finally, apply the former method in the object which is in process. And conclude the correctness of theory analysis and simulation result. For the typification of application structure, it also can be applied in the design of other tension reel. |
