Food is a necessity for human survival, environmental factors of grain such as temperature and humidity determine the length of time for the food storage, so it is very important for grain storage environment timing detection. However, most of the traditional grain storage monitoring using manual measurements or field bus distribution network approach, such wiring is difficult, complex network, but also easy to maintain.Aimed at the shortcomings of traditional barn, a solution for wireless environmental monitoring system based on ZigBee and GPRS was proposed. A sensor node development strategy with the core of CC2530chip and CC2591RF chip was adopt, and software design of ZigBee networking system was brought out according to Z-Stack. This system adopt GPRS communications for remote data forwarding. The PC monitoring system was designed based on VC6.0platform.The system consists of a coordinator module, router module, terminal node module, GPRS communication module, ventilation equipment modules and PC Monitoring Center. The system has the capabilities of on-site real-time data acquisition, processing, transmission and storage. Acquisition nodes will collect environmental data in order to converge to form a multi-hop network coordinator, and ultimately through GPRS and Internet network to send data to the host computer monitoring center, mainly to complete the PC real-time display of data, storage and has alarm function. Manager can monitor the information of temperature and humidity for Grain Storage and the voltage information of nodes across the PC. When the temperature and humidity exceeds the set alarm limits, alarm will alert manager to adjust grain temperature and humidity. When a node voltage is too low, this will remind manager to replace the battery timely, avoiding the problem of inaccurate capture. Manager can send commands through the host computer to control the acquisition node open, close, and collection intervals. When the grain temperature and humidity exceeds the alarm limits, manager can send the appropriate commands to control the opening and closing of ventilation equipment through the PC. Granary environmental monitoring system will achieve rapid, safe and intelligent management. It is proved that the wireless environmental monitoring system based on ZigBee and GPRS has the advantages of accurate data-collecting, good real-time data transmission, easy operation and so on. The grain storage system can basically achieve the information collection tasks of temperature and humidity. The system has some reference value for the future design of large grain. |
