GH4169is a Ni-Fe based high temperature alloy. It has been used in industries likeaviation, energy,chemical engineering and so on. The forming processes of GH4169alloy section steel are forging and machining, which exist the problems of low finishrate and limiting the sizes. In order to resolve the problems of low finish rate andlimiting the sizes.The main contents and results of this paper are as follows:Based on the principles of rolling and pass design, the rolling pass is designed, therolling process of multipass in one pass. Rolling models has been developed onDEFORM.This paper used DEFORM to simulate the rolling process which individually changesinitial temperature, reduction of area, rolling speed and roll diameter to analysis theinfluence on the rolling process. The simulated results shows that with the initialrolling temperature raising, the billet temperature is raising, but rolling force isreducing. With the elongation or roll speed or roll diameter increasing, the billettemperature and c and rolling force are gradually increasing. On condition that theinitial rolling temperature is1000℃and the elongation is1.83and roll speed is40r·min-1and roll diameter is700mm, it is better rolling process.On the Ф160Χ200rolling mill, the hot rolling of GH4169alloy section is simulated.The pass slopes with6oon the roll, the cross-section of the blank is irregular, thereduction of area is45%. and the rolling processes are using one pass to do two passesrolling through changing the value of the roll gauge. The simulated results show thetemperature of the workpiece is about1050~1100℃and greater than therecrystallization temperature above950℃, and the effective strain is about0.3~1.4andgreater than0.3, the workpiece come about large deformation, the rolling force lesser than nominal force of70t, which meet the requirement of rolling equipment。On the Ф160Χ200rolling mill, GH4169alloy hot-rolling experiment is conducted.Because of the experimental conditions, two passes in more number of heat and rollingare used, the thickness size of the finished shape meet the size requirements, the widthis more2mm than the size requirement, grain refinement is not happened. The reason isthat more number of heat and rolling make grains larger, so that the width size isshorter.
