Use Of Steel Pickling Waste Liquor Removal H₂S

With the growing shortage of oil resources and increasing requirements ofenvironmental protection, the proportion of natural gas increase year by year in our country.Therefore, natural gas desulfurization technology will be the focus of current research.Iron base desulfurization is a kind of classic and effective gas desulfurization process，use the iron to desulfurization. Pickling waste liquor is an industrial waste, which isproduced accompany by removing surface oxide layer of steel, contains a lot of waste acidand ferrous salt, if direct emissions have great harm to humans and the environment.This paper aims to use the pickling liquid waste produced a new, efficient natural gasdesulfurizer and examine its desulfurization performance. If it was applied to natural gasremoving hydrogen sulfide industry, we could achieve the goal of resource recycling,eliminate pollution pickling waste liquor to the environment.First, analyze material composition of pickling waste liquor, fully understand thedesulfurization performance of pickling waste liquor. Then, activate the pickling wasteliquor, study the feasibility of pickling waste liquor is used for natural gas desulfurization,and selected a good activation treatment method. The results show that: By H2O2oxidationtreatment, Fe2+transform into Fe3+, pickling waste liquor desulfurization could achievesuccessfully. The more Fe3+content, the better desulfurization effect of pickling wasteliquor. Last, inspect the influence of reaction conditions on the desulfurization effect，suchas the inlet flow rate, reaction temperature, initial solution pH, O2content in the feed gas.The results show that: The smaller the inlet flow, the better the desulfurization effect;desulfurization effect is better when the reaction temperature in the20℃~40℃; pH within2~5, desulfurization effect was increased with the increase of the initial pH of the solution;When the feed gas contains O2,the desulfurization effect of pickling waste liquor couldbe improved,the more O2content, the better desulfurization effect.
