As we all know, the survival and development of people is inseparable from theenvironment, humans are the product of nature, and can transform the environments.However, in recent years, with the continuously improvement of industrialization, the atmo-spheric environmental problems have become an increasingly prominent. Malodorouspollution occurs, not only affects the normal human life, but also threats human healthseriously. Therefore, developing a portable stench monitoring system which has goodreal-time performance has a very realistic significance and academic value.This subject designed and researched the detector of the air quality monitoring system,which is directed against the mixed trace malodorous. By reading literature and lots ofresearch work, the detection of the system is determined: photoionized sensors and thermalconductivity detector. In terms of hardware, depending on the testing and transmissionrequirements,the paper designs appropriate signal conditioning circuit for the detectionsand an UV lamp drive circuit and current amplifier circuit for the latter developed its owndetector to make the necessary preparations. In addition, the important part of gas collectionprocess and the workflow have been described in detail and the key components are brieflyintroduced.The paper investigated the working principle and the requirements of various gasdetection methods deeply. Compared with the thermal conductivity detector, a large numberof experiments carried out to determine the detection effect of the photoionization sensorunder different experimental conditions with different samples. Depending on the responsecurves, the paper analys the results of each test conditions, and determine optimal testparameters, and provides a ready basis for the final completion system target-" tracemalodorous monitoring system".Currently, the system is compared with mature GC product to calibrate the test result.After a lot of experiments, the system shows high reproducibility, detection limition as lowas a few ppm, the stability and accuracy can meet the requirements of this project, whichproves the feasibility and effectiveness of the gas detection system.
