In the petrochemical industry, the traditional monitoring repair procedure is basedon the previous experience and conservative safety considerations, the economy, safetyand possible failure risk organically in sufficient, repair frequency and effectiveness and the risk of equipment failure or inappropriate, limited maintenance resource touse unreasonable, maintenance of behavior in the presence of certain blindness. Along withthe reliability centered maintenance (RCM) technology has been large and medium-sized international petrochemical, energy, chemical industry, electric power and other industrial fields employed, the technique to improve the reliability of equipment operation and to reduce the cost of repair, proved to be an effective tool.This paper discusses the reliability centered maintenance (RCM) technology is a determining device in its operating environment needs repair, repair system to improvethe system analysis method in Dagang Petrochemical Industries Co application and exploration, proposed based on RCM method repair optimization, analysis of the related theory and technology base, including the idea of RCM, failure mode, failure mechanism and failure mode analysis of technical characteristics of repair decision influence. Dagang Petrochemical Industries Co two sets of main equipments fault mode identification, and combined with the relevant technological basis, the fault mode fault preventive measures are discussed to improve the prevention, repair, improvement of equipmentmonitoring, improved prediction and fault repair system, optimization, improved quality, lower the cost to repair, the repair of Dagang Petrochemical Industries Co system improvement is also useful to explore.
