| In the nowadays, petroleum engineering is gotten rapid development. Theamount of petroleum engineering project is becoming much more, and the scale ofwhich is becoming much bigger, at the same time, the risk of which is becomingmuch higher. The higher risk conduct the loss to be more and more serious, which willincrease the cost and waste the time. The risk management is an essential job to thepetroleum engineering program. In the field of oil and gas well completion technology,the multilateral well completion is an emerging technology which has many uncertainfactors, so it needs to be researched during operating the project to control the risk.The effective ways to reduce or evade risk loss are very guiding significance formultilateral well completion engineering project risk management.At first, this paper gives us an overview to risk management on the conceptual,which introduces the concept of risk management and risk identification, riskassessment, risk response and risk monitoring. Then according to the oil fieldcharacteristics, this paper expounds the risk management applicated in petroleumdevelopment.This paper, which takes multilateral well completion methods and operationprocedures as example, build up a risk management procedure system that analysis bysynthesis is including but no limited to reservoir geological survey, design,completion tools development, operation and supervision. And the paper set upinquiring software risk evaluation system for the multilateral well completion project,that is highly significant for inquring risk management system in future.Finally, this paper, using the expert scoring method, expound risk managementprocedure during operating the multilateral well for NISOC in Iran. It is important that risk management system is put into practice for the well completion engineering. |
