The Shengli Oilfield overall has gone into the development stage of extra high water cut.The current existing development economic policy, mainly based on the development of theregulation and the characteristics of middle-high water cut stage, can’t provide effectiveguidance for the adjustment measures of extra high water cut stage. Also, due to oil pricechanges as well as increasing development costs, there are more and more requirements forthe economic benefits. The previous technologies and economic policies mainly concentrateon the development factors as well as economic conditions. So, it is hard to provide effectiveguidance for the adjustment measures of extra high water cut stage. Therefore, considering thedevelopment characteristics of high water cut stage in an oil field, it is necessary to deeplyanalyze the development situation of the oil field and set the economic policy limits for thiskind of oil field. At last, it is expected to provide a scientific basis for the analysis of thedevelopment potential for an oil field.This paper for multilayer commingled oil reservoir is based on a new evaluation methodof the effect of extracts. It makes use of laboratory experiment and numerical simulation andmine statistics to analyze of influencing factors, for the mechanism of EOR of the high watercut stage extracts including permeability contrast and the thickness. Also this paper studiedand defined the policy limits for extracting technology of the best magnitude and time,formulated the computing formula of a single well to increase recoverable reserves and welldensity, analyzed the the main influencing factors of the relationship between the well densityand the single well to increase recoverable reserves. Formed a calculation method for thetechnical and economic limits of infill well number technology estimated the potential for infill well number and studied the geological reserves boundaries of the single well economiclimits of the monolayer deveiopment, formed the boundaries plate of the effective thicknessfor the economic limits, estimated the potential of the strata optimization.
