Development And Research Of HAZOP On-line Analysis System

Hazard and Operability Analysis was taken as one of the best evaluation method at safety.It was generally accepted by a good deal of international production enterprises and designorganization, and applied to the plant and equipment over their entire life cycle. But the reportof HAZOP analysis played its role in the way of paper medium, making it difficult to comeinto play sufficient. In order to improve practical applicability and guidance of HAZOPresults, the author designed a method called HAZOP analysis system online. Depending ondatabase of Expert System, people could import and manage the HAZOP report. At the sametime, the real-time data from production could be obtained by designing interface betweenHAZOP Expert System and DCS. The signal from DCS triggered Expert System in abnormalsituation, then accessed database, making operation personnel treatment timely.This paper researched and investigated the DCS at home and abroad, completing thecollection, statistics and analysis of common DCS types. In view of the above, the interfacebetween Expert System and DCS mainly complied with OPC specification. Based on theresearch of OPC technology, OPC server and client were designed while their developmentsteps were described in detail. Then the normal work of software was ensured by setting upoperation environment. At the same time, the two kinds of software were operatedexperimentally.To ensure real-time, HAZOP Expert System brought in real-time database. On this basis,paper constructed the frame structure of Expert System which consist of user interface,knowledge database, interface engine, man-machine interface, system database, knowledgeacquisition and explanation mechanism. The realization process of each component wasnarrated, especially the design thought of real-time database that covers its function analysis,design idea, application model and structural design. Now the whole system had beenfinished.
