By using CFD software fluent, the gas-liquid flow in the cyclone-coalescence separatoris simulated, the gas phase flow and the gas–liquid flow are mainly investigated, and theseparator efficiency is investigated. Results: the inlet volumes of each separate pipe are different. In the single separate pipe, the flow in separate room is steady, and the flow is conducive to separation, the tangentialvelocity conforms to Rankine vortex distribution; the side seams are conducive to theseparation of droplets. The flow in drainage chamber is complex, the interporosity flowexists between separate pipe, and is bad for separation. The pressure drop of mesh coalesceris directly proportional to the velocity square, the droplet flow around mesh, the pressuredrop is decreasing along with the increase of mesh layer spacing. The separate efficiency ofthe cyclone-coalescence separator is influenced by the diameter of droplet, the separateefficiency is increasing along with the increase of the diameter, when the diameter is lessthan12μm, the increase rate is large, when the diameter is more than12μm, the increaserate is small. The escape trajectory of droplets in separate pipe are different, small dropletescape easily from this separate pipe. The capture effect of mesh coalescer is obvious, theseparate efficiency is influenced by the inlet velocity.
