Horizontal wells, which have become an important technology for the effectivedevelopment of low permeability reservoir, have unparalleled technical advantagescompared to vertical wells and have become an important support for sustainable andeffective development of Shengli Oilfield. Studies of fractured horizontal wells are still inpreliminary stage. So the well test interpretation technology research must keep pace inorder to ensure to provide more accurate reservoir parameters and a basis for decisionmaking for the exploration and development.First, we build physical mathematical modeles for infinite and finite conductivityfractured horizontal wells and find a resolution(considering the length of the horizontalsection, the number of fractures, perforating, directional permeability, etc.). We dividecharacteristic flow regimes and map out theory typical well test curves of infinite and finiteconductivity fractured horizontal wells. On this basis, we have teken parameters-sensitivestudy(wellbore storage coefficient, permeability ratio, skin factor, well location, the lengthof the horizontal section, fracture length, fracture spacing, the number of fractures, fractureconductivity capacity, etc) to pressure response and model characteristics analysis.Second, we have taken characteristic curve and palte match analysis method study onfractured horizontal wells, and taken instance check with real field data which proved theinterpretation methods be scientific and reliable. And so a set of interpretation methods offractured horizontal wells for low permeability reservoir have been established.By the study of well test interpretation method research of fractured horizontal wells in lowpermeability reservoirs, we studied flow characteristics, mathematical modeling andanalyzing, parameter sensitivity study of fractured horizontal wells. Well test interpretation capacity of fractured horizontal wells for low permeability reservoir has been established,which can answer many questions that developers concerns, such as the effective fracturehalf-length after well completion, the actual fracture flow capacity of each fracture, thereservoir pollution parameters around the well, which can provide direct technical data,making services more effectively in the production and development of oil fields.
