Along with the unceasing development of Xianhe oil field and the variety of reservoirtypes, the accuracy of surface metering is required higher and higher.“single teammeasurement, separate well metering” have become the key techniques and basic premise.According to the existing problems of oil wells process intersection, the low level ofmeasurement technology of low liquid well and poor environment, the measurement shortagebetween wellhead oil quantity and back oil quantity. In this paper, on the premise of fullinvestigation of measurement techniques at home and abroad and the application situation inXianhe oil field, primary contradictions and problems are facing were deeply analyzed. Andgroup experiment, informatization experiment, dynamometer measurement experiment,measurement at well head, test separator were carried out and so on. Different experimenteffects were compared, and the related experiment law was concluded. Progress has beenmade in the aspect of single team measurement and separate well metering.Systematic modes of operation and management of single team measurement andseparate well metering were built, through the evaluation, analysis and technical renovation ofthe measurement in Xianhe oil field, thus data and approach which can be learnt form wereprovided to the measuring work in oil field.
