At present, the international beverage giant Coca-Cola and Pepsi use refined sugar whichcontains lower color value and less impurities as raw material, while most of the domesticsenior beverage plants purchase high quality carbonated or sulfitation sugar for secondaryprocessing, in order to obtain relatively pure sugar to ensure the quality of product. Secondaryprocessing of sugar will not only increase the cost of production but also demand moreproduction equipment venues in the companies. In this paper, a high-purity sucrose syrupproduction process is studied. The finished syrup saves the sweetness characteristic of whitesugar, keeps high purity and low color value, and contains little sulfur dioxide, etc., which istotally in line with the required quality of the beverage giant. The research optimizes the sugarmarket structure and adapts to the current demand of food industry which has an greatsignificance.Based on the analysis of the basic situation of sugar in domestic, the effects of thecontents of phosphoric acid, the pH value of pre-ash, the intensity of sulfitation, and the pHvalue of sulfitation-neutra on decolorization and sucrose of syrup were studied in the paper. The optimum process parameters of the sulfurous acid-phosphate purification technologywere as follows: the content of phosphoric acid was600mg/kg, pH value of pre-ash was8.0,intensity of sulfitation and neutralization pH value in sulfitation were10mL and8.0~8.5.This paper made contrasts among the adsorption effects and influences on flotationmolasses of several activated carbon, and chose the type C-1activated carbon as thedecoloring agent which affecting adsorption factors were studied. The orthogonal test showedthat the optimum adding amount was0.583%(compare with dry solids), temperature was65℃, sugar pH value was7.5, absorption time was40minutes. To improve the efficiencyand the filtering effect of the plate-frame press fliter, parameters of filter draperies andadditivities were studied in this paper:500mesh filter draperies, diatomite and perliteadditivities mixture were chosen as the filter medium. Each cm2filter drapery containeddiatomite0.042g, perlite0.014g.Several kinds of resin in the ion exchange decolorization, ash removal and deodorizationof sugar syrup were studied. In the experiment, the raw material according to thedecolorization, removing ash, deodorized order flowed into the ion exchange resin colum. Itwas found that resin AP-50(Cl) and AS-42(Cl) were suitable for syrup decolorizing, themixed resin AS-42(OH) and CE-14(H) were good for desalting, and resin1064has gooddeodorization effect. The process parameters of the test had been repeatedly verified, and the finished syrupwas collected to observe the changes of physicochemical index during the storage period. Theresults show that the most direct factor affecting shelf life of product were pH value of thesyrup and reducing sugar; the color value, ash conductivity and turbidity were less affectedduring the storage time; the concentration and reducing sugar of the syrup were the mainfactors affecting crystallized. Controlling the concentration of syrup around65%wasappropriate for extend the shelf life for the finish syrup.
