The Ecologocal Values And Ecological Civilization Construction

The ecological values are different from the general cognition, they affects the lifestyle of human according to their new attitudes and understanding on thenatural environment. Take a look back at the history of human civilization, theunderstanding of the ecological values experienced by four periodfrom obscure cognition, explicit cognition, irrational cognition to rational cognition, withthe change of the four periods, the ecological values of people changes as well, sodoes the construction of ecological civilization, accordingly. Meanwhile, we are alsoaware of the great guidance brought by the ecological values to the development ofecological civilization. Today, facing to the global ecological crisis, the sharpcontradiction between man and nature, we have no choice but to establish the scientificconcept of the ecological values in order to promote the development of ecologicalcivilization.The establishment of scientific ecological values would promote the change ofpeople thinking from the utilitarian way to mutually beneficial way, from the analysisprinciple to holism, which would help the people to reconsider about the relationshipbetween human and nature and eventually lead to the harmony between human andnature. Therefore, it is necessary for us to extreme the essence thought of the Westernecological value, the Chinese traditional ecological value and the Marx and Engels’Ecological Philosophy to break the human authority developed in the industrial civilization,re-establish the respect to the environment and build the scientific ecological values.At present, the construction of ecological civilization of China is remarkable, however,the destination is still far away, the scientific ecological values are necessary as the guide tospeed up the development. The focus should be placed on the following aspects: to improvethe ecological ethics and ecological behavior of people according to scientific ecologicalvalues; to strengthen the environmental education and environmental consciousness ofhuman according to scientific ecological values, to improve and complete the laws andregulations of ecological protection according to scientific ecological values, to strengthenthe ecological administration and ecological management according to the scientificecological values, to develop the circular economy and sustainable development.
