The assembly of complex products, such as missiles and satellites, is the typicaldiscrete assembly with manual work, complex process and long cycle. The development ofcomplex products is full of constant attempts and repeated experiment, in which a data flowwith large data volume and complex data relations is generated. How to ensure thereal-time, accuracy and integrity of process data is a difficult problem for assembly processdata management. Aimed at this problem, the management method of assembly processevolution and process data is studied. The software system is designed and developed. Thefeasibility of the proposed method is validated. The main research works are summarized asfollows:1. The research status of the related fields at home and abroad is discussed. Thebackground and significance of the research are introduced.2. The characteristics and the management goal of assembly process data aresummarized. The components and the evolution of assembly process data are analyzed. Themain technologies of assembly process evolution and process data management arepresented.3. The workflow of three-dimensional assembly process design is studied. The datamodel of assembly process, process resource and process materials are established. Theinterfaces of three-dimensional process data’s transmission are designed. The standardexpression of assembly process data is defined.4. The interaction between process and process data is analyzed. The model of theassembly execution data and the process feedback procedure data are constructed. Theprocess data inconformity between unchanged process and changed process are compared,the integrated algorithm of process data for change is designed to ensure the accuracy ofdata transmission.5. The multi-dimensional evolution model of process data is established. The datarelations are built from the perspectives of granularity, cycle and version. The algorithm ofgenerating process-data-packet is designed to output the data. The assembly process treemodel is constructed and the integrated management of assembly process data is achieved. 6. Based on the above research, the assembly process evolution and process datamanagement system for complex products is designed and developed. The developbackground, technical way, system structure, function module and interface criterion areintroduced. The feasibility of the method is validated by the engineering application of thesystem.7. Finally, the summing-up of the whole dissertation is made, prediction of the futureresearch and direction of relative techniques are made.
