Poplar veneer laminated wood floor was taken as the research object, and thepoplar veneer impregnation process, hotpressing and density was studied.Thewood color contrast analysis and infrared analysis of poplar veneer single slabafter carbonization was studied, corrosion and ageing resistant performance s ofveneer laminated wood floor made from single slab layer of poplar veneer afterdifferent treatment process were also involved.Double factors comprehensive experiment method was used to study thepoplar veneer impregnation process. The results show that when the adhesivesolid content was30%, soaking time was30min, physical and mechanicalproperties of board such as24h thickness swelling and peel performance wereexcellent.Performance test was introduced for veneer laminated wood floor with fourdensities. The results show that the board with1.1g/cm3density owned the bestphysical and mechanical properties compared with those of other densities, nocracks appeared after peel test.Double factors comprehensive experiment method was used to study thepoplar veneer hot pressing process. The results show that when the temperaturewas140℃, veneer laminated wood floor had better physical and mechanicalperformance such as24h thickness swelling and peel performance;30min hotpressing time leaded to superior performance of the board.Carbonization methods combined with physical and chemistry was used forpoplar veneer, the effect of different carbonization process on single slab ofwood color and lumber flooring performance were studied. The results showedthat the veneer wood color was gradually deepened with increasing carbonizationtime and carbonization temperature, particularly under170℃and15mincarbonization method. The mechanical properties of single slab charring treatedplate specimens decreased significantly compared with untreated specimens,while its water resistance performance was increased. The infrared analysisrevealed that there were chemical changes appeared on holocellulose and ligninduring the carbonization process, degradation occurs mainly in the semi celluloseof wood.Through artificial simulated outdoor environment, the effect of differentconcentrations of borax, boric acid and mixed solution on physical properties and anti-corrosion performance of specimen were studied. The results show that thesurface bacterial colony was sparse on single slab after preservative treatedcompared with untreated specimen, especially by boric acid solution; thespecimen weight loss rate were small after decay test,0.5%boric acid and1.5%of three kinds of preservative solution could well inhibit decay fungi;24hthickness swelling and physical mechanical performance were not weakened afterpreservative treatment, while preservative solution had negative effect onadhesion performance of board.ASTM1038was used for aging test, to explore the board aging propertiesafter different treatment of single slab. The results show that the physical andmechanical properties were decreased after aging test; but the mechanicalretented no significant difference except single slab treated with3%boraxsolution; there were cracking phenomenon appeared on single slab after mixedsolution treatment, and cracking phenomenon was worse with the increaseconcentration of solution; there were almost no cracking phenomenon appearedon carbonized wood specimens; the control group and carbonized wood specimenhad good anti-aging properties relatively.
