The efficiency of energy use has become an important symbol to measure thelevel of development of the country’s modernization. Steam is a widely used energycarrier. Recovery of the heat in high temperature and high pressure steam condensateis one of the important measures to improve energy efficiency. The steam is a heatmedium which is used widely by enterprise and can produce steam condensate whichis a high-quality heat boiler feed water. Scientific design and steam condensaterecycling is one of the most energy-efficient and water-saving measures in theenterprise. Steam condensate recovery including calories and steam condensate waterrecovery and recycling processes can be divided into open and closed recyclingsystem. Based on the summary of the existing different types of steam condensaterecovery methods, gravity open, closed and sealed back-pressure condensate recoverysystem were analyzed and compared by their dvanced technology and the economicperformances. This paper focused on the problems in recycling of steam condensatein a chlor-alkali enterprise in Xinjiang, including the design and operation process ofa large steam condensate recycling system.Firstly, the necessity and conditions of the condensate water treatment isdemonstrated, combined with the actual situation and adding the heat transfer plateheat exchanger and a secondary heat exchanger air condensers An increase mixedanion and cation condensed water vapor exchange resin is added for impurity ions.Then, this paperdiscussedthe heat and water treatment equipment selection anddetermined the equipment specifications. Finally, a detailed analysis of indicators ofprocess control and process steam condensate recovery system was studied in detail.Through the recycling system, we can reuse the condensate70-100m3/h to producepure water, not only to fill the30m3/h water supply gap, but also to reduceemissions, thus reducing fresh water consumption charges and wastewater treatmentcosts,which expected to save3.36million yuan in one year.
