Han dynasty clothing as an important representative of the traditional culture of ourcountry, shows the development of social history and culture, is the material form of Handynasty civilization, reflects the thinking and feeling of the ancient working people, reflects theart aesthetic of Han nationality, has great significance of inheriting and carrying forwardtraditional culture. Han dynasty established the earliest complete system of apparel in China,which is attractive in the history of Chinese clothing. The characters of Han dynasty clothing,light the common, dignified and elegant, reserved and thick style, reflects the constitute thephilosophy foundation of the Chinese nation by the combination of Confucian doctrine beautyand Taoist natural beauty, also is a basic clue of Chinese aesthetic thoughts for two thousandyears. In order to further refine the content which has reference value for modern designapplication in Han clothing, this thesis carries out specific deconstruction research in thecharacteristics of Han dynasty clothing details.This thesis is divided into five parts to do systematic, scientific classification and study inHan costume shape and pattern.The first part cardings the overall situation of Han costumes, mainly about the historicaldevelopment of Han costume, and does classification of the design, pattern and color for Hancostumes; then, discusses in detail about the design of the Han costume, taking robes, clothupper, shirt lower as the focus, and pulls out its main features, and generalizes the aestheticsymbol of Han costumes in clothing shapes, such as binding hair and right junction, wide gownsand long sleeves, and carries out specific discourse on it; The third is to analyze the pattern ofHan costumes, focusing on a variety of monomers patterns and pattern combinations, sums up Han costumes aesthetic symbols and features in four aspects, including the local realism andabstraction of individual patterns, free changes of monomer pattern, smart rhythm of overallcomposition, humanistic spirit embodied by lyric, and conduct a detailed analysis discourse; onthe basis of above findings, combines with the application practice of Han costumes aestheticelements in current art design field, comprehensively discusses Han costume aesthetics researchand application issues symbols from fashion design, the other arts, tourism, film and televisionwork and other aspects; finally, makes a brief summary of the full text.This thesis, uses the methods of image reading, literature refining and analog analysis,focuses on shape concepts in the system of the Han costumes such as binding hair and rightjunction, wide gowns and long sleeves,“embodies their yearning to be in harmony with nature”,and the aesthetic symbols such as the language expression of design patterns conception, freecombination and changes, as well as good use of continuously arranged and express feeling inhands of object, summarizes its aesthetic characteristics and cultural significance, and analyzesits value in the application, so as to provide a reference of “Han costumes” applications inculture, as well as in art design, economic, life and other aspects.
