In this paper,the research subject is the drying dryer section of the X-ray film coating machine. As the air conditioning case has been determined. In order to reduce the energy consumption of the system, it is essential to make a research on the relationship between the air volume and the drying rate, confirm the indoor air temperature and humidity. This paper mainly use the COMSOL MUTIPHYSICS software,which is used to dry areas of airflow simulation and drying rate simulation analysis.The film drying chamber is a special space, which is Sealed and do not allow light enter, the moisture load is very high. So the air conditioning design of indoor temperature and humidity requirements are very strict. In order to guarantee the production process and reduce energy consumption. Using COMSOL Mutiphysics simulation to optimize the drying chamber design.Through the experimental study.Following conclusions could be drawn:1)The film drying room should use slit method air supply. Inlet width should be moderate. After comparison and analysis, the width of the inlet’s should take250mm as best. Take the250mm as the inlet width will lead to stability airflow, there will be a vortex area cover the most of the drying area. The hot air can be taken as carrier for moisture to send the steam out of the drying chamber.2) Air speed, temperature, relative humidity have huge impact on the drying rate. Appropriate drying medium should be chosen according to the characteristics of raw materials. Coating machine in this case is more special, have certain requirements for temperature, humidity. Drying method used in this paper is the heat pump drying technology in recent years to promote. Air was heated by heat pump, and then sent into the drying region. If you want to improve the efficiency of drying rate, can only be achieved by changing the wind speed. Simulation results prove that the drying rate will not be changed by changing the air velocity,change the temperature is the best method.
