With the development of coal industry, the automation of coal mine production has been improved greatly. During the manufacture of coal mi-ne, it is the monitor and control of modern production equipment that be-comes a guarantee of the safety production, which is also a hot topic in the field of the automation of coal mine production in recent years. It is especially important to supervise the equipment on site and choose the e-xcellent and steady fieldbus and associated equipment.Fieldbus such as Profibus, CAN and Modbus has been applied widel-y in the automation of coal mine production, among which Profibus-DP is the most popular. However, complete plants from foreign giant enterpris-es dominate the application of the DP bus in China and it is a high cost. Hence, it is imperative for the automation of coal mine industry to dev-elop a field control system with low cost, high performance and flexible application.Combined the common use of Profibus-DP bus with the low cost of LIN bus, a control system is put forward. It can effectively reduce the c-ost in the automation of coal mine production and expand the applications of LIN bus, which is favor of developing the automation of coal mine production.In the thesis, the research background and the current situation of the automation of coal mine production at home and abroad are analyzed fi-rstly, aiming at analyzing the application of DP bus used in the coal min-e production and Lin bus, proving the feasibility of the program. Based on lots of literature information, a whole design scheme about data samp-ling and controlling system on account of DP bus and LIN bus is propo-sed. The characteristics of three prior common designs are compared. The microprocessor and the specialized DP communication protocol chip are combined as a design and each part of the system are planned according to the practice of the project. Next, a corresponding host based on data conversion between Profibus-DP of Freescale microcontroller and LIN bus is achieved. Hardware selection, circuits, PCB, programs and GSD files are accomplished. And then, the working performance of every circuit and the system as a whole is tested. Finally, how the system can work und-er the interference condition and other industrial fields is evaluated and t-he problems in the design is analyzed and summarized, including the pro-spects of future work.
