With the increasing depth of coal mining, the problem of soft rock engineering is increasingly outstanding. The support work of soft rock engineering is still always the the technical problems in the field of mining engineering. Soft rock roadway, especially in the soft rock engineering, which stability control works of surrounding rock of underground chambers is needed to be solved urgencily in mining science.In this paper, eastern substation in Changping mine of Shanxi Changping Industry Co. Ltd. has been regarded as the research object. The rock geomechanical conditions, deformation crushing mechanism, deformation and failure patterns of eastern substation in Changping mine has been studied by theoretical analysis, laboratory tests and computer simulation and other means, and the reinforcement scheme of eastern substation has been proposed.The main conclusions are as follows:(1) The physical and mechanical parameters of rock mechanics conditions in eastern substation and the physical and mechanical properties of the3rd and top floor of the coal has been detailed analysised.The lower roof eastern substation is soft mudstone and sandy broken mudstone, the upper roof is thick hard fine-grained sandstone and sandstone, the floor and the two side of substation is fractured jointsand lower intensity NO.3coal.(2) The crushing mechanism of eastern substation has been studied though the coal depth, lithology, strata structure and mining influence:Due to the soft surrounding rock, semi-deep high gravity stress and long-term high mining additional stress caused by hard rock roof overhang to goaf, the mine roadway chamber, and working face gate roadway in3rd coal seam will inevitably have severe deformation and floor heave.(3) The main factors affecting the stability of surrounding rock in the chamber has been syudied by numerical simulation software, and chamber rock deformation of surrounding rock displacement chamber and vertical variation of stress peaks in each factor are as follows:the amount of chamber surrounding rock displacement and vertical peak stress decreases with caving angle and coal pillar size increases, and increases with decreases with the top overhang length and cola depth increases. The chamber burial depth have grent influence on chamber rock stability.(4) The zoning stable full-face rock crushing joint reinforcement technology is be proposed on rock structure and mining conditions in eastern substation:①timely closure rock;②roof anchor taking φ22mm strong anchor to form reinforcement ring;③deep strength grouting form a dense mat of deep active carrier to achieve deep rock roadway carries initiative;④anti bottom floor arches full-face closure bracket.(5) The reinforcement scheme applicable to Fusan eastern substation are propesed compare with the factors affecting the eastern substation. And the supporting effect of the reinforcement scheme is studied by numerical simulated. The results of numerical simulation demonstrate the feasibility of reinforcement scheme, but it is steal needed to be monitored by implementation practice.
